Despite only releasing 3 players, John Coleman has promised radical changes to the Rochdale squad this summer.
"The release list is only the beginning of the radical squad overhaul promised at the culmination of last season. The disappointment of losing our League One status hurt us all, but now it is time to put that behind us and look forward to the future.'
By signing Accrington players.
'We have several targets identified and it is anticipated that there will be plenty of comings and goings throughout the summer."
Most of whom are believed be Accrington players.
"Both Jimmy and I are confident that the squad assembled by the start of next season will have a whole new look and approach and will be capable of competing at the top end of League Two."

As much as loyalty has to be appreciated, Accrington finished League 2 in 14th place, the bottom half; hardly the quality players needed to see Rochdale challenging in the playoffs.
Sean McConville and Michael Symes were the last 2 ex Accrington players signed by Coleman; both poor, and both proof that Coleman might have to cast his net a little wider if he doesn`t want Dale to sink next season.
