Priestfield

Gillingham tasted defeat for the first time this season when they, also ending with 10-men, were beaten by Rochdale at Priestfield on Saturday afternoon.

Andrew Tutte's (15) early goal was enough to see Rochdale go into the half time break one-nil up; they also went in a man up after Danny Jackman saw a straight red for a lunge on the half hour.

Bobby Grant (59) took advantage of the extra man to add another for the visitors just before the hour, to just about secure the points.

Gillingham had hope with time running out when Danny Kedwell (74) successfully converted a penalty but it wasn't enough with The Gills tasting defeat for the first time when they went down 2-1.
