Hill Even More Pleased After Reviewing The Game

Keith Hill has talked in more depth about his pleasure at seeing us take a point from the Chesterfield game, despite being at ten men come the end.

Speaking to the Official Site following the game, Hill talked about the positives that he'd seen.

'I've learnt a lot about the players in training but you only learn more in real action and that was Saturday. It was a great test when we went one nil down, I wanted a response and we got one. I'm happy with a point, we could've nicked it at the end but they could've aswell, so I'm pleased we've got a bit of momentum.'

Hill talked about the quality of the opposition and admitted he was surprised with how brightly they started, but again he was pleased because we withstood it and still created our own chances in the first half. He was pleased with the mental strength shown and the organisation the team used to get themselves back into the game and ultimately to take a point from it.

In short he thinks the foundations are now there for the remainder of the season, which will also stand us in good stead next campaign.
