Hill - We're Still On The Right Track

Despite the loss to Northampton, manager Keith Hill still believes the club are moving in the right direction.

Talking to the press following our 3-1 defeat, Hill was still upbeat and still believes we are showing signs of further improvement.

'It was a strange game and the defeat was marginal, but we're on the right track and I don't want us to get derailed by the result.'

Hill claims there are 'tell tail signs' that not only are the team improving each match day but also more importantly they are taking on board the game plan and tactics he wants to see us use, although he does concede that improvement is a it hit and miss because 'some' areas of the pitch need to improve vastly before he'll be happy.

However he is bouyed by what he's seen so far, and he expects that to continue.

'A lot of what we did in the game is what we're doing in training and that is pleasing to see. The manner of the defeat though, is disappointing.'

What Hill definitely wants to see is an improvement in our concentration levels, as he says conceding again just after we equalised is a 'cardinal sin'.
