Hill On The Rest Of The Season

Hill On The Rest Of The Season

Keith Hill has said he intends to remain at the club and he hopes to see us continue to grow, even though it won't happen overnight.

Speaking to the Official Site the gaffer knows this season hasn't been the best but he's continually looking for improvement and he believes he can deliver it.

'My intention is to remain at this club and make sure that we regenerate the type of success that we've previously brought to the club, but it's not going to happen overnight. We're in a different situation to the one we were in when I first came to the club and that's where I'm expecting trust, belief and faith from our supporters. I came with an open mind and I want to achieve, I want to build and I want to be successful and I'll be more than willing to stay here for at least two seasons.'

Hill says that when he does eventually leave - afterall nothing lasts forever - he wants to leave with the foundations firmly in place and not have them ripped away, because lessons should've already been learnt but the rebuild will take a few seasons to complete as it's about the future of the club, not the now.

That doesn't mean the club can take it's eye off the ball in our current predicament.
