Keith Hill has given his thought's on the Morecambe loss.
Speaking to the Official Site following the 3-0 loss, Hill expanded on his earlier words, saying.
'The harsh realities kicked in on the task in hand. It's like a new relationship, when you get down to the nitty gritty you reveal the true character and we were beaten by a hard working, well organised, effective team. On paper you would look at the lineups and think pound for pound we might have more talented players, but for me there lies the issue because of the over evaluated opinion that players are better performers than they are. It's a team game and I'm glad the players have started showing me their character, or lack of character that you need to win matches.'
Hill clearly isn't happy, and training this week would've been interesting given how angry he obviously is at the moment.
He finishes by saying that the players need to take responsibility for their performances, and show him an improvement and show themselves an improvement to help lift the club. He also says he has faith they will, he believes they will bounce back and ultimately the club will be stronger for it.
