'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Keith Hill Shapes His Backroom Team

Keith Hill has officially confirmed his backroom team for the coming season.

Chris Beech, Brian Barry-Murphy, Tony Ellis, Dan Fradley, Richard Ashcroft and Chris Brown will join goalie coach Steve Collis, fitness coach Ross Preston, physio Andy Thorpe, assistant/youth physio Gary Thompson, chief scout Larry Redmond and kitman Jack Northover to complete our backroom team.

Beech has now officially been appointed as Assistant Manager after returning in January, and Barry-Murphy will take up the roles of first team coach/player.

Ellis takes the Academy Manager title and First Team Matchday Observational Coach to help bridge the gap between the first team and the youth team.

Ashcroft has been appointed as Youth Team Manager and will be assisted by Chris Brown.

Dan Fradley will be the analysis man in his role as Head of Training and Matchday Analysis, as Keith Hill wants far more scientific feedback to aide training and conditioning next season.

Speaking to the Official Site Hill explained.

'Getting to where we are today has been transitional since I came back. It's not just about a Manager anymore, you need a team. There's a design to try and make sure we're successful and althought it might not be evident from the get go, it will become evident to supporters.'
