Rafferty Enjoying Summer Workouts

Joe Rafferty has talked about the fact that Rochdale's U21's have been attending three sessions a week at the club since the season ended, to help progress their development.

Speaking to the Official Site Rafferty said he'd been enjoying the sessions the club had run.

'I like to keep myself fit all the time, I'm not the type of person who likes sitting about doing nothing. We've been in the gym a lot, we've been doing weights and I'm enjoying that. Pre season is always going to be hard but this will make it a little easier than it would've been.'

Rafferty also says that after signing his new contract his aim is to be an ever present next season, and he knows it's a bold aim but he's going to be doing his best to achieve it.
