Hill Not Expecting Kennedy Stay

Hill Not Expecting Kennedy Stay

Keith Hill has admitted that he doesn't believe Jason Kennedy will remain at Spotland next season.

The midfielder still hasn't signed the contract he was offered by the club, and Hill told the Official Site.

'I have spoken with Jason and it's highly unlikely that he is going to be signing.'

Hill says that it was important for him to stay at the club when he first returned last season, and he's thankful he did as Kennedy did have the opportunity to leave.

'He was tremendous for me when I came back and I'm happy for him to be signing for another club.'

Hill also said that he hopes to recruit a central midfielder and if that happens the situation with Kennedy changes anyway, and the player is fully aware of that.
