Lillis Out For Two

Goalkeeper Josh Lillis is now expected to miss the next two games after having an injection in his knee.

The player was carrying the niggle for most of last season, and despite treatment at the end of the campaign, he's had to have a further injection since returning to training.

Speaking to the Official Site Keith Hill explained.

'Josh has a niggling knee injury for the majority of last season, and he had an injection once the season had finished. I was assured this would have settled everything down and he would have been able to do a full training programme, but within a week of coming back there has been a slight soreness to his knee. He has been to see the specialist and after having another injection he's been recommended to do progressive training.'

Hill is hopeful that this means he will be available for Maccesfield next Tuesday, but it's a case of wait and see.
