Play-off bid hits pace
Dale continued their fine run of late with their fifth win in a row thanks to a 4-2 victory over Notts County at Spotland.
Notts County frustrated Keith Hill's men first half but Dale never gave up and their efforts paid off when Rene Howe got his fourth goal in two games on 58 minutes.
Adam Rundle and Adam Le Fondre both later added their names to the score sheet. However, Dale were slightly fortunate with their fourth which came via an Michael Johnson own goal.
Rochdale now extend the gap between themselves and 8th place Chesterfield to five points and with just four points off an automatic promotion spot there is everything to play for in the final five games of the season.
